Team intro
The Nepean Knights team is based out of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. They competed in the Ontario JR B league which they won 3 years ago and went on to win the Nationals. Most of the players were on that team or previously played with the Nepean Knights. The majority of the team are now playing SR A or B lacrosse and quite a few have been drafted to the NLL.
Several players played NCAA lacrosse on scholarships. We have at least 6 players who have previously played in the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial tournament. Most played with the Belgium Axemen team while a few played with other Canadian teams. During our JR box career we were coached by Jason Tasse who also coaches the Belgium National team. He also coached us when we played with the Belgium Axemen team. A lot of our players are giving back to our minor lacrosse program with the Nepean Knights by coaching as well as our field lacrosse program with The Ottawa Capitals.
