Team intro
The Pioneers hail from the Greater Vancouver Area in British Columbia's Lower Mainland. During league play the Ladner Pioneers compete in the West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association (WCSLA). One of the most successful senior lacrosse teams in Canada, they've won six WCSLA Championships; 1990, 1991, 1997, 1998, 2004, and 2007. In 1998 and 2004, the Pioneers won the Canadian National Sr. B Championship, Presidents Cup, the last Western Canadian to do so. In 2015 the Pioneers were crowned the Memorial Champions for the first time. This will be the Pioneers sixth Aleš Hřebeský Memorial. After the completion of the tournament the Pioneers will travel back to BC and compete in WCSLA regular season action.
