Aleš Hřebeský Memorial is One of the Founding Members of the Box Lacrosse Tribunal
Together with our partner tournaments we have decided to launch an initiative to keep the game clean, fair and safe – the Box Lacrosse Tribunal. It is a disciplinary oversight body formed by leading independent box lacrosse events worldwide in 2026. Built on mutual trust and shared standards, the BLDC ensures safety, integrity, and accountability across independent box lacrosse tournaments globally.
Participating tournaments and invitationals within the coalition recognize reciprocal disciplinary decisions, ensuring that severe infractions carry meaningful consequences beyond a single event.
The tournaments involved are:
Aleš Hřebeský Memorial
Frank Menschner Cup
EBox/SheBox
LAXNAI
Traditions Cup
We have noticed the increase of fights and unsportsmanlike behaviour which is unfortunately amplified by social media as viral content. We are strictly against this trend and we want no fights, dirty play and unsportsmanlike conduct in our events. Such behavior discourages parents of potential new players and complicates the growth of the game. We want to promote the game of lacrosse in a positive way, support fair play and respect to the opponent.
Each of the tournaments that are involved in the initiative has its rules for suspension of players who commit such a blatant violation of rules and damage the reputation of the game. We have agreed to coordinate and share information about these incidents and expand the players' suspension to all involved events upon the consideration of a joint committee of the tournament representatives.
We hope we share this view with you, and we all honor the basic principles of the Creators game: play hard but fair and respect your rival.
