Team intro

Xolos Lacrosse Club are representing a developing box lacrosse community in México. While being a local powerhouse in México, Xolos made their International debut at LAXNAI in 2025 in Utica, NY. Their roster has players who played for Team México and Team Poland in 2024 in Utica, NY at the World Box Lacrosse Championships. While México Lacrosse Association was their International Field tournament COPA Azteca, Xolos made connection with some amigos from Canada and USA who love and want to help grow the game is coming along on this journey. We have the honor of being the first team from Latin America to play in this prestigious tournament and hope playing in the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial will help encourage more Mexican players to play and develop more Box Lacrosse in México. The Xolo [SHOW-Low] is a dog breed native to México, short for Xoloitzcuinti. Xolo derives from the name of the Aztec god of fire and lightning, Xolotl, as well as “itzcuintli”, the Aztec word for dog. The Xolo symbolizes the spiritual connection between the living and the departed.
