Team intro

The Six Nations River Rats lacrosse team was formed in 2018. The name comes from the founders' late grandmother's baseball team she ran for over a decade. The Rats have played in and won tournaments such as the Sin City Classic in Las Vegas, NV. The Nashville Box Lacrosse invitational in Nashville, TN. The Origins Cup in Toledo, Ohio. And placed 2nd in the Chuck Baranowski Winter classic Box Lacrosse tournament in Montreal, QC. The team is currently partnering with a native youth program from British Columbia, to organize a charity tournament with the proceeds going towards at-risk native youth from the Squamish nation. The players on the original team are made up mainly of family and friends from Six Nations including multiple national champions in Canada, and the United States. Many players have had NLL experience, and a number of the players were on the Iroquois Nationals team that traveled to your country to compete in The World Indoor games. For the AHM few players from other countries were added to complete the roster. We are very excited about the chance to visit the beautiful Czech Republic and compete for our people.
