Thanks to Sean Gibson, the ELF Indoor Lacrosse Coordinator, the European Box Lacrosse Forum will be held on April 25th, 2013 during the 20th Annual Ales Hrebesky Memorial in Radotín. The meeting will be held at 8 p.m. in the VIP area at the LCC clubhouse.
„As part of looking into development opportunities for box (Indoor) lacrosse in Europe and in speaking to the organizers of the Ales Hrebesky Memorial Box Lacrosse Tournament (April 24–27th, 2013); they have been gracious enough to allow an opportunity to host a forum to discuss European Box lacrosse which will allow me to get some insight into, and aid in creating a platform to move forward together to develop box lacrosse through out Europe as a whole,“ Gibson says.
The forum will take 60–75 minutes to discuss a number of items and then to host an open forum for which you; ELF Indoor Lacrosse Enthusiasts can provide your input and insight into this fantastic sport.
We will be looking to address the following topics:
● Introduction by Sean Gibson (ELF),
● Role of ELF Indoor Lacrosse Coordinator, by Sean Gibson (ELF),
● Presentation from the 2013 European Lacrosse League, by Jan Barák/Ondřej Mika (ELL),
● Presentation of a case study: German Box Lacrosse and the Dresden Vision, by Simon Krause/Jamie Plunkett (Deutschland Indoor Lacrosse),
● Unique way of Fundraising for Lacrosse, by Patrick Dougherty (Turkey Lacrosse),
● Open Forum Chaired by Sean Gibson (ELF)
We look forward to your attendance at this watershed event and in working with you in the long term to promote and grow box lacrosse throughout all ELF member nations.
If you are unable to attend but would like to get more information regarding Box Lacrosse please don't hesitation to contact Sean Gibson at indoorlacrosse@europeanlacrosse.org.
