The final was evenly matched throughout. The game was played at a thrilling pace and the teams fought for the lead. At the end, the Megamen led 7:6, but Štěpán Friedl, playing for the Leprechauns, managed to push the ball past the goalkeeper from behind the goal just 36 seconds before the end of the regulation and then the crossbar saved Megamen in the remaining time.

In overtime, the Megamen's goalkeeper Matt Kuhn shone with a series of fantastic saves against the Canadians' pressure, but after less than three minutes of play, he could not stop Coady Adamson's shot.

The home team LC Custodes finished in fourth place, falling short in the bronze medal match to the Iroquois team Frog Pond Maulers. This year Frog Pond Maulers team was significantly better than last year. A great success is the eighth place of the young people from LCC Wolves, who beated the German Shepherds in the quarterfinals.

The level of the tournament has increased since last year and the teams that placed in the top places showed fantastic lacrosse.
