))))) )))))Klub Istanbul Sultans byl založen v roce 2009 jako první v Turecku. Jeho zakladatelem je Patrick Dougherty, který lakros přinesl do Turecka. Sultans sehráli řadu mezinárodních fieldlakrosových zápasů jak v Turecku, tak v zahraničí. Jejich účast na Memoriálu je historicky poprvé, kdy týmu pod tureckou hlavičkou bude hrát boxlakros. Veterány se zkušeností ze zámoří doplní mladíci z radotínských Wolves a společně se zapíší do historie tureckého lakrosu.
Istanbul Sultans Lacrosse Club was established in 2009 and is the first lacrosse club in Turkey, based in Istanbul. The club was founded by Patrick Dougherty, who brought the sport of lacrosse to the Republic of Turkey in 2009. Istanbul Sultans has played field lacrosse against international teams in country and abroad. This will be the fisrt time the Sultans will be competing in box lacrosse and they are now the first team in Turkey's history to play box and compete internationally. Veterans with experience from overseas will play with help of young blood from Radotín Wolves and together they will write a chapter of the Turkish lacrosse history.
